This is a practical self-assessment, not a prediction of job loss or an employment guarantee. It is designed to show you where to look more closely.

Question 1 of 1010% complete

How much of your work follows the same repeatable steps each week?

Choose the closest answer.

How the assessment works

AI risk is easier to understand at task level than from a job title alone.

A job is a bundle of responsibilities. Some are repetitive and digital. Others depend on physical presence, judgment, context, relationships or accountability. This check looks for those differences instead of declaring an entire occupation “safe” or “replaced.”

Repetition and rules

Work that follows the same steps, templates or decision rules is usually easier to standardise and test with AI.

Data and digital inputs

Text, numbers, images and other digital information are generally easier for current AI systems to process than changing physical environments.

Human judgment and presence

Trust, accountability, ambiguous decisions and real-world physical work can change whether AI is best used to automate or simply assist.

What your result means

A higher exposure result does not mean your job is about to disappear. It means a larger share of your current work appears suitable for automation or AI assistance and deserves a closer task-by-task review.

The International Labour Organization’s 2025 task-level research similarly separates exposure from replacement: it found that one in four workers globally are in occupations with some GenAI exposure, while transformation is expected to be more common than complete redundancy because human input remains important in most jobs.

What to do after the score

  1. 1List the real responsibilities that take most of your week.
  2. 2Separate what you could automate, what AI should only assist, and what human capability you need to deepen.
  3. 3Choose one low-risk workflow to test, keep a review step and measure the before-and-after result.

Methodology context

The assessment is a directional self-check, not a validated psychometric or labour-market prediction instrument. Its task-level framing is informed by established occupational research approaches such as the ILO’s Generative AI and Jobs work and O*NET task data.
